There are times when you fail to get a gift because you failed to meet with the decision maker.
For example, you have a great meeting with the wife but it is the husband that is the decision maker.
Another example, you meet with a friend who is a part of a missions committee but it is the committee that makes the decision.
Here are the 3 reasons you must meet with the decision maker:
1. They need to hear your vision from YOU not another person.
You are the one that has the passion, the calling and assignment from the Lord. There is no better person. This is not the place for fund raising by substitution.
2. They need to be able to interact and ask you questions.
Here again the decision maker is not going to get the full story from another person who has heard your story. They need to hear it from you.
3. They are the DECISION MAKER.
You are now face to face with the decision maker. You are meeting with the person that can make the financial decision. But they need to be asked by you.
